The students need to have a real interest to learn a new language for this reason the teacher has to involve to the students to the language. This job in the beginnig of the classes is not easy because the students don't know how the class is going to be. The taecher needs to create a very good relationship in the first class because the students have their first rapport about the english teacher and they need to feel very happy with the first class with this first contact the students can work with energy and interest in the english classes.
We need:
1 Create a good enviroment with confidence.
2 The teacher need to establish the rules in the class and follow all the year because the students need to have rules and habits.
3 The material is the most important in the classroom they need to feel the english with real material or atractive illustrations and we can use in some cases the electronic blackboard they love it and they can have a contact with the technology because some times they can work in the internet with this material and they can see videos, sing, etc.
4 the teacher need to prepare a very good lesson plan because the students need to have a lot of activities but this activities need to have a sequence.
5 the students need to practice the language for this reason we need to promote the work in teams.
6 The teacher have to introduce to the students to another countries where they can know their culture.

The teacher has a lot of information with the teories that we have learn during this course and we can introduce the teories depending the students and the levels because we need to promote the practice to the language but the most interesting teories for me are multiple intelligences, task-base learning, communicative language.

VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES: .Making the class active, interesting and relevant. These activities must be meaningful in order to reinforcement of new points and integrated old items as Ausbel points out

LEARNING ENVIRONMENT can develop positive learning by making the classroom itself an environment which
students experiment success

AUTHENTIC LANGUAGE , is used in a real context , reproduce the conditions in which the language is acquired.

INTERACTION with classmates to complete a task or project show and share knowledge, according with Vykosky considers what the language learning is product of classroom interaction and promotes cognitive skills

As teacher must be to consider finding the best method with their own experiences, beliefs, assumptions and fundamental points of view about teaching and learning. And also consider what we are trying to achieve and its appropriate for our students . According with my classmates wherever method that must facilitate and promote the process of the language

My own Methodology. RAQUEL JASSO MONDRAGON. T.T. 2
My method has suitable ways for the different age groups.
That let me variety activities skill and to a comprehensive and
dynamic language.

1.-Use music with mime or drama.
2.-Practice in teams this let ss has social interaction.
3.-Use flash cards about the topic, and realize structure (grammar) with the vocabulary
4.-Play in class memory, puzzle, etc different games
5.-Read stories and answer questions so ss can do a team project, where the t. is spectator
Monitor.
I agree with the methods about my classmates, they have similar opinion that me.
I think. To educate or do we teach in a fun and attractive for students.

I HAVE READ SOME OF THE INFORMATION I DON'T AGREE AT ALL BECAUSE THEY DONT GET THE MAIN IDEA ABOUT THE METHOD OR OWN METHOD I KNOW THAT THEORIES AND METHODOLOGIES ARE IMPORTANT AS WELL AS THE MANAGMENTS OF THE CLASS, DISCIPLINE, CONTROL, ENVIRONMENT AND ALL THAT STUFF BUT WHERE ARE YOUR SYSTEM OR PLANNING TO FOLLOW A METHOD. 1. You have to teach using a contex and creating real situations (Jean Piaget)
2. Teacher helps studentents give them some drills in order to get confidence how to talk (Carl Rogers)
3. Students have to learn with funny and dinamic classes for them, as a teacher we have to use games, songs, visuasl, etc. (Gardner)
4. Learning is depending of the enviromet, so as a teachers we have to create a good atmosphere in the classroom (Vigotsky)
5. Teachder has to teach students to interact with their classmates because it is very important to learn and understand other languages (Vigotsky)

I think Marissa has great ideas about how to teach

1. Learning can be done in three ways: auditory, visual and kinaesthetic. It is important to try and include all three as much as possible into the lessons.
2. Consider student's background knowledge, enviroment and learning goals.
3. Select different teaching strategies because students learn in different ways, but must of them will respond well to praise.
4. Link learning to the needs and interests of students.
5. Present curriculumwhole to part with emphasis on the big concept.
6. Develope communicative competences in English as a second language.
7. Have interactive classes insteado of theorical ones.
8. Use sources as much as possible (websites, books, dvd, recycled materials, flashcards, magazines, etc.)

I agree with Marissa because she suggests funny and dinamic classes also she says that we have to create real situations to our students.
I agree with Maribel because she says teacher's performance it's very important.

Well in this case I love my job and I feel very proud for being a Preschool English teacher and my own methodology is first of all "doing everything with passion and by heart"

*I try children have to feel confidence with me I give them patient, I hear them and I try to they feel I'm a teacher friendly.

* And of course I hear the Spanish teachers advices, principals and "enlaces opinions"
* And it's a compromise for me I constantly need to improve my teacher's techniques with courses, reading, conferences etc.

I agree with Maribel and Vero about we need to use realia is the best to communicate in real life and I don’t think it’s a good idea memorizing vocabulary because you can get a lot of words in your brain but if you don’t know how to use it, it’s not sense.

IF YOU WERE ASKED TO CREATE A NEW METHODOLOGY FOR ENGLISH TEACHING, WHAT COULD BE SOME OF ITS PRINCIPLES.
Principles:
Friendly environment in the classroom
Have rules at beginning
Promove linguistic competences
use the four skills
Use different motivations
Be variety (planing, games, listening,skilld,etc)
Work Projects
Promove pairs, groups (but change the people)
My own method has to be based in:
Constructivist classroom. Students work in groups, and are forced to think rely on different sources, teacher has to undersatand their styles of learning in order to do the planning and the permanent process to evaluation in different ways.
Audio Lingual. This method emphasises on speaking (the most difficult step) and teaches structures and rules by examples.
I include PPP-CLT and TBL because i think that tere are much topics, problems of learning and some times you like a teacher, considers that some one is better for each class that onother one.
PPP. it can be use for difficult topic or when the students have problems with something
CLT. it can be use when the teacher considers that the students need to practice communication in real life.
TBL. It can be use when the teacher wants to focus the class in real life tasks.

MY OWN METHOD, I'D CONSIDER:

1.- Clear rules for the kids previously.
2.- Create a good atmosphere between kids-teacher.
3.- In my personal experiences I prefer constructivism classroom, because they have the possibility to hear about experiences to others kids and it is real situation, at the end the most important is talk english as we do spanish.
4.- About the method I think one way to teach clearly is with PPP however all methods are useful depends the situations. I can use each of them, in this way my classes can be varied, and I can identify which the best for each group.
5.- Practicing real-life speaking, work with interesting topics that kids choose.
6.- Make attractive, funny and iteresting classes all the time.

I like and I agree with Marissa and Vero.

MY OWN METHOD OF ENGLISH TEACHING COULD BE A MIX OF METHODS ACCORDING TO THE NEEDS OF MY STUDENTS. MY PRINCIPLES:

As an English teacher I should be respectful, motivator, confident, facilitator, and interested in their likes and enthusiastic. Create a positive classroom environment.

1. Gouin's Direct Method, exclusive use of the target language in classroom. No translation or use
of the Ss language. SS need to understand their mistakes.

2. Grammar Translation Method, for memorize lists of vocabulary words, verbs, etc, and their
meanings. ( Behaviorism: mechanical, meaningful and communicative drills. )

3. Presentation, Production and Practice. In order to practice making different sentences using
the new item, may involve drilling ( controlled practice ). Ss talk more freely about themselves
or other people in real world. I'm working with 2nd and 3rd grade. This method is for low levels.

4. Audio-Lingual Method. Emphasis on speaking. Ss will have the opportunity to listen to their
peers and talk to each other to develop their skills in speaking and writing.

5. Communicative Language Teaching. Languages involve also functions such as inviting, agreeing,
and disagreeing, suggesting, asking information. Free communication production.

Let’s Ss work in groups. Young children develop their activities by interacting with other
children, adults and the physical world. ( L. S. Vygotsky )

Play is an important and necessary part of the student’s cognitive development. ( J. Piaget )

The characteristics of our Ss are the major factor in our decisions about how, and what to
teach, in how make our lesson plan. Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner.

I agree with Marissa, she has interesting points then we have to consider them.

THIS IS ALEJANDRA ALFARO ALONZO SATURDAY COURSE.
INCLUDE AT LEAST 5 PRINCIPLES USE THE INFORMATION OF THE METHODS YOU HAVE STUDIED AND DON´T FORGET THE THEORIES OF LEARNING.
Well I think the 5 principles could be:
1.-Exploit the innate curiosity and motivate students with interesting, and exciting materials .

2.-Be aware of their ages and abilities.

3.- Encourage students to work in a free way and to develop their language.

4.- Engage Ss in what they are doing and let them to communicate.

5.- Remember to match Pre-task with the task cycle.

MY OWN METHOD "ALEJANDRA´S METHOD"
Choosing the best parts of each method.

-To create a good environment to make my students feel safe, confident, motivated, and engage them in the task since the beginning until the end.

-Provide a variety of activities to prevent indiscipline, to keep them busy, to make pair work, grouping, tríos,play roll, etc. and as they have different abilities every one will have the chance to feel comfortable with the task.Remember to plan your project.

-Students perform real life tasks based on competences, using their prior knowledge and perform their projects.
-Organize meaninful exercises in order to use target language and develop their 4 skills.

-Teacher must play some of his/her roles: be friendly, facilitator, guider, emphatic, be interested in Ss needs and make them feel they can learn the language, take care of their filter, remember if they don´t feel well there won´t be any learning.

2- use always their interesting and the most important context topic.
3.be patient and design work in teams .
4. use TBL in order to do easily the session.
5., INVESTIGATE and select carefuly material and information,
6-. be creative and use techonology because the students are expecting about the real life .
7. Create a security environment for students in order to speak in english all time(-.
8-. use and practice 4 skills and close activity with meaningful learning
9-.promote the reflection in the students

first to make a good environment for kids, it is important because you can get their attention, and also to have them get fun in your class because they are kids, they like to have fun, also you as teacher have to be a fri8end for them not only the teacher, listen to them, make them feel save,

1.-make a fun class, inclede theme in a veriety of exercices and give them a lot of material

3.-inclede english in real life thet us going to be a good way to make them learn in english
4.-presentation production and practice taht is a good method and also tbl, for me is getting very usefull
